Farhang Farahy is Vice President of Quality for Drivetrain & Morse Systems at BorgWarner, where he leads global quality strategy, operational excellence, Automotive SPICE®‑aligned process governance and continuous improvement across complex, safety‑critical automotive systems. He is responsible for driving enterprise‑wide quality performance, customer satisfaction, and robust governance frameworks across manufacturing, supplier development, and product lifecycle execution.

With 25 years of extensive experience in global automotive quality leadership, Farhang oversees Quality, Supplier Development Engineering, Regulatory & Compliance Quality (including ASPICE, ISO26262, ISO21434), and Operational Excellence functions supporting BorgWarner’s global Drivetrain & Morse Systems organization. His responsibilities include defining and deploying scalable process architectures, governing system and software development maturity, and ensuring disciplined execution through structured assessment, risk‑based decision‑making, and data‑driven quality management.

Farhang is widely recognized for translating complex standards and methodologies—such as Automotive SPICE®, Functional Safety (ISO26262), AIAG core tools, and integrated governance models—into practical, scalable operating systems that enable execution discipline while fostering a culture of accountability and learning. He has deep experience in establishing process ownership models, assessment frameworks, and governance mechanisms that connect ASPICE objectives directly to program execution, launch readiness, and sustained product quality in complex global organizations.

As a senior executive within BorgWarner’s global organization, Farhang actively engages with OEM customers and industry partners on quality transformation, process maturity, systemic risk reduction, and sustainable operational performance.
