Doug Kulka

Doug Kulka was appointed Chief Information Officer for BorgWarner in December 2025. In this role, Kulka leads global IT in support of the company’s mission to deliver innovative and sustainable mobility solutions. He champions data and AI as core enterprise capabilities and ensures technology investments translate into competitive advantage and sustained business performance.

Kulka has more than a decade of experience as Chief Information Officer at both Tyson Foods and Hewlett-Packard. In this time, he has led enterprise – wide digital transformations, shifting technology from a support function to a strategic engine for growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage, and has moved companies from legacy operations to data-driven, digitally-enabled organizations. Specifically at Tyson Foods, he stood up an AI practice that moved the company beyond pilots and proofs of concept into production-grade, scalable solutions delivering tangible business outcomes.

Kulka earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut. Additionally, he serves on the Wall Street Journal Technology Advisory Board and is an Executive Advisory Board Member for Summer Inc., Salesforce, Gartner, University of Arkansas College of Engineering, and McMullen Ventures.
