Jan studied electronic engineering and Physics. He finished his education with a PhD in Physics.
After that he started working as software engineer and project leader for embedded development.
Since 2007 he is responsible for the VDA QMC activities on Automotive SPICE.
He is member of several standardization working groups such as VDA QMC working group 13 or
ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7.
Since 2021 Jan is head of the VDA QMC certification office for Automotive SPICE.

Alexander Klotz is Head of Technical Compliance (TC) at Vitesco Technologies. He is responsible for the Corporate Technical Compliance Management System (TCMS) and the worldwide TC Strategy, which aim to detect and mitigate risks associated to non-compliant products (hardware and/or software) and systems.
In line with the VDA Product Compliance definition, the Vitesco TCMS covers regulations, global standards and considers relevant aspects to derive „state-of-the-art“. In his former position at Continental, Alexander Klotz led the Technical Center India (TCI), a major R&D Center of the Continental Corporation serving all Automotive Business Units globally.
During his 3 and a half-year assignment in India, the TCI grew to one of the largest R&D locations of Continental. He joined the company in 2001 holding several leadership positions in the areas of Advanced Product Development, Systems Engineering, Vehicle Testing, Project Management, Customer and Product Strategy, and Innovation.
His experience includes assignments in the USA and Japan, and covers safety relevant products like ESC, ADAS, and interior products, such as Instrument Cluster and HUD. Alexander studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration (German Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur) at the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina in Braunschweig, Germany.
